Thank you for an absolutely incredible stay. It was our first time here and we are sure we will be back. We booked this trip early 2023 as something to look forward to and it was worth the wait.
We spent our days walking, stargazing, relaxing in the incredible bath and outside watching the world go by. Jumping in the lochan on New Years Day was exhilarating! The bed is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, it felt like a wee nest. We loved falling asleep to the sound of hooting owls and barking foxes. We loved the pizza oven, the breakfast pack and the home reared venison. You can’t beat local food. I could write all evening and not do Tiny Home justice. Thank you!

Wow. What an incredible time we have had. Going off grid and enjoying the sheer beauty that Scotland has to offer!
We have spent the last few days exploring all of the incredible walks we were sent, paddleboarding and swimming in the rain. And of course, bathing in the tub with a glass of red and piping hot camembert and ‘homemade’ sourdough – thank you very much!

A re-supply trek round hills, through fields and forests and over streams.
Hot bath in the midnight snow with champagne. Cracking the ice to go for a freezing dook in the lochan.
Sitting with the Bonchester locals for a sing song in the pub (last Sunday of every month!) First time boogie boarding lesson. Chilling on the deck chairs in below 0 with all the blankets and a glass of whisky watching the world go by. Thank you Claire, David and Sarah for an unforgettable time!

Wonderful 48-hour escape. Beautiful location, cabin an idyllic retreat. Fabulous attention to detail. And the hot bath was a real treat, even the whole act of heating it up and stoking the fire.
Mixed weather but didn’t take away from a relaxing break, the moonlit sky and night was magical.

We have absolutely loved the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful place……
Just perfect for escaping everyday life and its busyness. So far, we have not seen a soul for 48 hours. We did the Ruberslaw walk yesterday and such beautiful views across Hawick. The dogs are loving life here, as do we. Time to reflect, recharge, be still. Time to just be in the beauty of nature.

Wow, what an incredible place, just perfect for us to relax after a busy wedding week. It was so wonderful to rest and be thoughtful, enjoying the quiet – accompanied by the deer of course! We hiked up Ruberslaw to catch the sunrise and it certainly didn’t disappoint! We loved trying out the telescope to find constellations and of course the paddleboarding. We are avid cold water dippers and so loved having the lochan to ourselves! Thank you so much Claire and David for a magical stay and the little touches. Like the bread, butter, jam made it feel extra homey! Very Coorie indeed! We’ll be back!

What an amazing setting you have and what a brilliant retreat you have created. We came to totally switch off from work and find somewhere that our rescue lurcher could feel safe. Both of these things were absolutely achieved. We loved the lochan, Greta and the hot tub and the canopy is a genius idea – we had some rain so it was a joy to sit outside and listen to the water on the lochan while staying dry! We were also lucky enough to have a day of glorious sunshine. It doesn’t get much better than having the beautiful deer for neighbours and as all guests have said, the little touches and breakfast/barbecue packs take things to the next level, we’ll be back.

We were gifted our stay here as a Christmas present from our two sons and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We loved the total peace and quiet and the chance to fully relax, away from it all. Everything has been thought out very carefully and we loved the 5-star quality and attention to detail. The views from Ruberslaw are well worth the slog, as is the 3-hour fire making to get the hot tub ready!! What a treat to sit in it under the moon and stars watching the bats. This is our first return visit and this time stayed for a whole week – definitely recommend a longer stay to anyone considering it.
The setting and Tiny Home itself is idyllic. A haven for humans and wildlife. Merlin Bird ID app identified so many birds from their songs and calls and we also saw most of them. Also loved seeing the newts, tadpoles, froglets and the friendly horses, deer and cows. Fantastic weather meant we could paddle board/swim every day and we also managed a couple of trips up Ruberslaw. It is only around 30 minutes to the top from Tiny Home so well worth a go. The views are stunning!
As we were here longer this time, we went out a few times and all four of very much enjoyed the Donkey Sanctuary (open Saturday’s only) and Floors Castle. Dogs on leads at both places which suits us and our two plodders! The whole area is beautiful and largely unspoilt. Rare to find in the UK these days! Thank you, Claire, David and Sarah for another amazing holiday – you thought of everything and even the yummy cereal!

What an absolutely gorgeous place!!

Am a big fan of glamping in Northumberland and Scotland but never stayed anywhere with its own Lochan and magnificent views like this! What a place to be brought to as a surprise location for my 30th Birthday!
Thank you both for all the little touches in Tiny Home. I can’t believe we only came from Kelso to find this beautiful spot and feel so lucky to have had a couple of days retreat here.
Morning yoga, cold plunges, wild swimming, climb up Ruberslaw, cosy fire, comfy bed, food and drink and THE HOT TUB! It has been a fantastic stay.

The perfect cosy cabin to spend the coldest days of the last ten years! In such beautiful surroundings – amazing to see the trees heavy with frost, gorgeous skies, and on the 13th December, the Geminids meteor shower. We loved the walk up to the Waterloo Monument and the hot soup and fire after at the visitor centre café. Seeing the beach covered in snow at Bamburgh was memorable too. We will definitely be back in warmer times to have a go at paddle boarding (we weren’t brave enough to break the ice on the lochan!) We simultaneously learned the meaning of Coorie and fully experienced it. Thank you for everything Claire and David.

“Small but perfectly formed” - the cabin exceeded our expectations on every level. The quality of the build, the fixtures and fittings, the extra touches. Everything we could need and beyond.
The location is so unique – we didn’t leave – just admired the views, the deer and the ever-changing skyline.
We ate like kings, enjoyed the meat from the farm, soaked in the outdoor bath. We walked up Ruberslaw – quite a challenge, but worth it for the views! Ventured out on the lake.

Thank you for the most magical stay. Perfect hosts – thanks for helping us out when we needed it – nothing was too much trouble. The BBQ Pack is hands down the best meat we have ever tasted – absolutely delicious. Fresh eggs and home-made bread made for the dream breakfast. We had a frosty night in the hot tub, absolute bliss and the cosiest cabin to come back into at night.
One of the best nights sleep too, so cosy up there and peaceful. Even in December we braved the water in the little loch and again for a dip in the hot-tub.
Not the closest, but we made the Holy Island of Lindisfarne our day trip which I can highly recommend. Took back cider and wine to have with our dinner! Perfect stay. Thankyou.

What a beautiful location - remote, scenic and all eco-friendly!
From the small touches of fresh eggs and artisan bread to endless amounts of logs! The stars came out for gazing in the bath tub outside and a frosty morning sunrise. Now for a swim and paddle board fun.

Our stay in the Tiny Home was just perfect in every way. We had great weather which was a bonus. The peace and tranquility we felt here was very welcoming, just sitting in the tub watching the stars or swimming and paddle boarding gave us such pleasure. The house is so comfortable and everything has been thought through so well.

Absolutely exquisite!
Every little detail has been well thought out, from the complimentary bread and pastries, high quality towels and robes and beautiful smelling shower goodies - Tiny Home has been a delight to stay in.
We also loved that it is dog friendly! Our border collie, Digby, has had the best time splashing and running around the loch.

Had a wonderful time enjoying the peace and tranquility, the hot tub and the lochan were all a joy.

I can honestly say this is the best stay-cation we have ever been on! The facilities are fantastic. We made yummy pizzas using Greta, had amazing BBQ using the delicious meat provided in the BBQ package and had so much fun on the loch. Can't wait to return soon!

Had a lovely time in the Tiny Home. Peace and quiet in a great location.
Passed the time watching the farmers in their fields. Made full use of the loch and the paddleboards and the hot tub. We are already recommending to our friends and will be back in the future. Harry had a great time exploring around us.

What a beautiful home. The finishing touches and finer details make this amazing! Lake was a bit too cold but lasted 5 minutes paddleboarding!

The most idyllic 'Tiny Home' and a weekend we will remember for the rest of our lives. So nice to pause life and remember what really is important. We are overwhelmed by the peace and tranquility - and the sun! We will most definitely be back, but please don't tell too many people about this place.

What an absolutely beautiful place to spend our honeymoon.
We have loved every minute of our stay soaking up the amazing views and using the fantastic facilities you provide. We loved the BBQ pack, freshly baked bread and eggs provided as well as the other personal touches.

What an incredible place, the views are amazing and the whole house is so well thought out. The food boxes are great and we managed to do pizzas on Greta too!
Found out I've got better balance on a paddle board than I do on ground and recovered from all the rowing in the bath with the best view of the supermoon appearing over the hills.
