Cool. Unique. Yours

Our cosy hillside retreat on the southern slopes of Ruberslaw oozes Nordic style and design features. With your own private Lochan for paddle boarding or wild swimming, endless views of the rolling Border Hills from the wonderful outdoor deck with woodfired hot tub and Greta the cooker.

Tiny Home proves that big things really do come in small packages.

Epic location

Inspired by their love of travel and extraordinary location, the Mactaggart family are proud to introduce ‘Tiny Home Borders’. With views as far as the eye can see from the southern slopes of Ruberslaw, this cosy hillside retreat for two combines an epic location with incredible attention to detail.

Tiny Home Borders is a real one off, a small but perfectly designed off grid eco-cabin where every bit of space has been cleverly used to create a unique and special glamping experience. When you step onto the generous deck and look out over the Lochan to the valley beyond you will realise how lucky you have been to find such a tranquil place.

The only thing to keep you company is the wildlife and our herd of beautiful red deer which share the hillside location with you (in their fenced off acres of course). Do your cooking in ‘Greta’ our Swedish outside cooker, BBQ and Pizza oven! With outdoor furniture on the deck for those long lazy days, we like to think we have thought of everything to make your stay as special and relaxed as possible.
