We are constantly thrilled and overwhelmed by the incredibly kind feedback about Tiny Home Borders. It is a privilege to share our special location with you, and we love that you love it as much as we do.
In the beginning, our vision was very simple. We wanted to create something special, a place we would love to stay ourselves and to listen to our guests and make improvements wherever we can.
This was and continues to be our ethos and we are proud that Tiny Home Two was launched this summer. Two Tiny Homes, both in secluded hillside locations, both with their own private lochan and even more wellbeing benefits.
Tiny Home Borders attracts guests all year round, every season very different but each with its own distinct character and experience.
But there is no doubt that you say it best, here are just some of the lovely comments which guests took the time to write in our Guest Book throughout the year.

What a fabulous find! We had such a great couple of days. Two swims in the lochan – chilly but fantastic – and a hot bath in the wind and rain. Perfect.
Every detail is so well thought through and we had everything we needed. We will be recommending to friends – and returning ourselves.

Thank you to the owners – you’ve made a lovely little escape, it’s absolutely stunning!
We came for our anniversary and I can happily say this blows a hotel stay out of the water – this is 100 times better.
The loch was great for paddleboarding, the bath was lovely afterwards and building a fire each night made it feel just that little bit more romantic.

We both loved every second, enjoying nature’s song, the paddle boards, the hot bath! The outdoor relaxing area is just sublime! The extra treats were amazingly delicious!
BBQ box was totally yummy and thoroughly enjoyed! You have a magical place here and we fell in love with it all.

We couldn’t have spent our 10-year anniversary anywhere more magical.
We climbed Ruberslaw, paddle boarded, bathed under the night sky and cooked your beautiful venison on the outdoor grill. All whilst soaking up the peace and nature around us.

We have absolutely LOVED the Tiny Home! What a perfect location – so peaceful and tranquil – like a little piece of heaven! We’ve never felt so ‘at one’ with nature – the deer, the birdsong, the lochan, the countryside – totally unspoilt!
We loved the bath and the cooker – again ‘at one’ with nature. You have got this place just right!

Wow!!
Instagram and website’s do not do this enough justice because this place is sensational. Our biggest regret is not booking for longer. Every avenue covered, the beautiful touches with the bread, eggs and muesli. The personalised embossing of ‘Tiny Home Borders’ shows no stone is left unturned.
The wildlife, the deer, were a sight to behold. We have had glorious weather and tried to pack so much in yet we also read and enjoyed as we soaked in the bath. Surrounded by snow! This is the most amazing ‘Tiny Home’. We would love to return and enjoy the surrounding area some more. We’ve stayed in some amazing 5-star accommodation, but this is one of those experiences that you just can’t rival.

Wonderful escape. Beautiful location, cabin an idyllic retreat. Fabulous attention to detail. And the hot bath was a real treat, even the whole act of heating it up and stoking the fire.
Mixed weather but didn’t take away from a relaxing break, the moonlit sky and night was magical.
Perfect 50th birthday treat for 2 friends to stop, press pause and catch up on life. We will be back!
Loved all the wee foodie treats too!

Thank you so much for having us at the Tiny Wee home. We came to celebrate a birthday and had the most wonderful wee stay.
We had a lovely walk up the hill with the deer, fun on the paddleboards, a quick cold dip and the bath was the perfect way to warm up after. Quiet evening games and the most amazing Northern Lights. We’ll be back.

Thank you for an absolutely incredible stay. It was our first time and we are sure we will be back.
We booked this trip as something to look forward to and oh my goodness was it worth the wait. We spent our days walking, stargazing, relaxing in the incredible bath and outside watching the world go by. Jumping in the lochan on New Years Day was exhilarating!! The bed is by far the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, it felt like a wee nest. We loved falling asleep to the sound of hooting owls and barking foxes.
We loved the pizza oven, the breakfast pack and the home reared venison. You can’t beat local food. I could write all evening and not do Tiny Home justice.
